St. Anne Catholic Parish – Nave Renovation
Delivery Method: Design-Build
Architect: Ellis Construction, Jeremy Kleman, AIA, LEED AP
St. Anne Catholic Parish chose Ellis as the design-build contractor to renovate the church nave and reconfigure the space to be more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing, totaling 8,912 square-feet. The alter was relocated and a new hardwood floor platform with ramp access created a beautiful foreground for the gorgeous stained-glass windows which frame the new large custom crafted wooden cross.
Additional ramps within the entire multi-level space were incorporated to provide proper access for those with limited mobility. Many new finishes were also incorporated to give the nave a fresh, modern, yet traditional and respectful feel. Custom fabricated railing/guardrails added to the modern appeal. New downlighting and decorative custom pendant lights over the pews made the area brighter and added to the cohesive feeling. Custom pews replaced the existing pews to finish the upgrades.
