Pointe Precision
Plover, WI
Delivery Method: Design-Build
Architect: Ellis Construction
Pointe Precision specializes in precision milling, turning, grinding, heat treating, and CMM inspection. They work with companies that require systems with critical tolerance qualifications, such as aerospace components that are instrumental in fuel control systems of major manufacturers, aircraft engines, braking systems of NASCAR, and emergency response vehicles.
The facility required clean rooms and a ceiling raceway to accommodate the electrical needs. Ellis has been the design-build contractor for the original facility as well as three additions over the years, which were required because of significant growth of the client.
Due to climate control needs, an HVAC specialty system which includes DuctSox distribution was installed to meet the need for a high volume and low air pressure system and eliminates the risk of condensation, allows for a hygienic, sterile environment and also absorbs noise. This system is customizable to create the perfect climate for their manufacturing needs.
Today, Pointe Precision’s overall footprint is approximately 111,000 square-feet of office space, manufacturing/production space, storage, and a showroom space.
