AROW Global Manufacturing Expansion

Mosinee, WI
Delivery Method: Design-Build
Architect: Ellis Construction, Jeremy Kleman, AIA, LEED AP

Ellis was once again called upon by AROW Global to design and build a manufacturing expansion which was a phased 100,000+ square-foot building addition construction in two phases.

Phase 1 expanded the current manufacturing floor space by 58,816 square-feet as an extension of the engineered steel superstructure with a concrete slab-on-grade floor with concrete frost walls, metal wall panels, masonry firewalls and an EPDM roof system. Due to the sheet size of the addition, the interior of the building included load-bearing CMU walls with a reinforced concrete cap to create bathrooms and a mechanical mezzanine area that sat atop the bathrooms.

Phase 2 added even more manufacturing floor space by creating a 59,295 square-foot carbon copy of Phase 1 addition, which was added on the east exterior wall of Phase 1. With the addition of Phase 2, AROW now has more manufacturing set-up space for window assembly and storage racks. Phase 2 also houses a glass furnace used for forming curved glass and has the capacity to hold six water-jet CNCs.
