AIG/Travel Guard World Headquarters

AIG/Travel Guard awarded the CM/GC contract to Ellis for their new world headquarters location developing a four-story, 131,297 square-foot office building to accommodate 860 employees, with 730 parking spaces. The site layout was designed to also accommodate an additional 150,000 square-feet on all four floors and an additional 577 parking stalls.

Material requirements were extensive:

  • 46,000 square feet of glass
  • 4,800 sheets of plywood
  • 2,000 light fixtures
  • 11 miles of piping
  • 50 miles of wire
  • 59 miles of cable
  • 800 tons of steel
  • 3,000 cubic yards of concrete

The project, which contains many renewable features, was completed within 365 days to meet the owner’s timeline and finished under budget.
