Wausau School District, Riverview & Hawthorne Elementary Schools Addition

Hawthorn Hills Elementary School featured an 11,638 square-foot addition, while Riverview Elementary School was a 14,650 square-foot addition.

These projects provided additional classroom space to the Wausau School District. These additions were large masonry projects which required attention to detail to match the existing structures.

Careful planning and scheduling was needed since the first half of construction took place during the school year. Unsuitable soils also became a challenge when the construction and landscaping were underway.
