Nicolet Area Technical College

The work consisted of remodeling two areas. A 10,000 square-foot building was remodeled; the work included new windows and doors throughout; new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; offices updated; shop area facelift; new flooring and ceilings; exterior painted and new siding/EIFS added.

LEED Gold level – features that helped earn this level included:

• Diversion of 94% of the construction waste from landfills
• Permanent storm water run-off systems that significantly improved quality and reduced quantity of storm water runoff
• Use of adhesives, flooring and sealants with very low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which protected workers during construction and occupants from ongoing emissions and off-gassing

A 7,000 square-foot addition consisted of 4 new classrooms, additional offices and a fire training ba.
