Ascension Spirit Hangar

Ascension Wisconsin chose Ellis as their general contractor for the new Ascension Spirit Hangar building which serves as a medical necessity for Central Wisconsin, given the next closest Spirit Medical Transport is located 102 miles north.

This 18,272 square-foot addition to the Central Wisconsin Airport created a new area for Ascension Spirit employees. The new area consists of administrative offices, conference rooms, sleeping quarters, a fixed and rotor wing hangar, and an ambulance garage.

Ellis worked closely with airport personnel to schedule work so the airport could remain fully operational during the construction process.

The new hangar allows for employees to have a relaxing area to rest, conduct meetings and work on the mechanical of the aircraft while providing 24-7-365 emergency response services.
