Plover Whiting Youth Athletics Pavilion

Plover, WI
Delivery Method: Design/Build
Architect: Ellis Construction

The new 4,649-square-foot, fully ADA-accessible shelter, observation deck, and gathering space is a testament to Plover’s dedication to its State Leading youth athletics program and its community. Designed for durability and safety, the facility offers reliable protection from unpredictable weather, providing families and players a secure space during storms and a shaded retreat in the summer. Its flexible design also accommodates community events like picnics, award ceremonies, and gatherings beyond the athletic season.

The observation deck ensures all spectators, regardless of ability, can enjoy elevated views of the playing fields. Funded entirely through donations, in-kind contributions, and PWYA cash balances, the project reflects the collective generosity of the community. McCain Foods led with a major gift, while trade partners and volunteers contributed materials, expertise, and time to bring the vision to life.

The PWYA Board of Directors played a pivotal role, honoring the program’s legacy while ensuring its future. This pavilion not only enhances Woyak Park but also symbolizes the power of teamwork, perseverance, and community spirit. It stands as a landmark celebrating Plover’s tradition of excellence and a safe, inclusive space for generations to come.
