Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Architect: Somerville, Inc.
This 20,049 square-foot addition was built between existing buildings and an addition to another existing building. As well as building the addition, the project included remodel of various spaces within each of the three existing buildings. Sitework required addressing drives and various walkways throughout the project area. Ellis worked to keep the existing buildings usable throughout the project. The facility utilized a combination of insulated concrete forms (ICF), masonry and stud wall construction. The driving force for the type of materials used was to be energy efficient while meeting the College’s budget requirements.
