Aspirus Adams Clinic
Delivery Method: Design Build
Architect: Ellis Construction
Ellis has a long relationship with Aspirus as well as Aspirus Riverview Hospital. Having completed multiple projects at Riverview previously, Aspirus Riverview Hospital again contracted with Ellis Construction for the design and construction of this 7,120-square-foot clinic in Adams, Wisconsin. This clinic is designed to convey a warm and welcoming feeling for the local community and the rural patients being served.
The clinic features a variety of administrative offices along with procedure rooms as well as full X-Ray capabilities to serve the nine examination rooms, along with support for the practitioners who staff the clinic. Adjacency planning was also a central point for this project. Placement of nursing stations, along with check-in and patient flow patterns were planned in depth, so as to provide the most seamless and effortless experiences for the patients.
Additionally, the use of masonry accents along with wood beams and concrete board siding creates a warm almost residential feel, while maintaining the appropriate mix of commercial elements. This complementary blend of style and finish produces a perfect match for the community of Adams.
