Job OpeningsProject Superintendent: Ellis Construction is looking to hire a dynamic and disciplined Project Superintendent. Ellis Construction provides Construction Management, General Contracting and Design-Build services throughout Central and Northern Wisconsin, serving the healthcare, manufacturing, education and general commercial markets. A successful applicant for this position would have at least 10 years of experience in commercial construction with significant time either as a larger trade crew foreperson, or, preferably a project superintendent. Past experience within, or completion of a formal superintendent training program or similar professional program is preferred but not required.
Position Benefits: Wage Range: $35.00-$42.00 per hour based on experience, with full health, dental and life insurance, profit sharing, company bonus plan, company vehicle, full technology, overtime eligible and company paid time off.
Position Description: Responsible for full on-site construction activities for individual projects through directing day-to-day project activities. Coordinates, plans and supervises sub-contractors and self-performed craft activities. Works hand-in-hand with Ellis project managers as well as internal and external architects. Maintains connections with other Ellis departments to insure all required materials, tools, equipment and inspections support the project’s advancement with schedule and milestones. Also works closely with Ellis’ General Superintendent/Safety Director to provide full compliance with the Ellis Construction Safety Plan. Depending on project size, Ellis Superintendents will also engage in direct trade activities along with the craftworkers on a self-performed trade by trade basis.
